I managed to get hold of a copy off Amazon and guess what – this Tony Dawson is featured in it. He was apparently named as a poster (existing under various pseudonyms) like others have highlighted on several on the posts above.

It seems that he was successfully done by a Southport resident in court for ‘certain’ nasty remarks. Oh yes, and there was that case a while back when Mr Pugh was outraged by his aides unwise antics in the Champion paper.

I was therefore quite surprised to see Tony Dawson ‘still’ calling the shots in Shakespeare Street today. Sometimes I despair of the barmy political system in our country.

sack all the parking wardens, go back to proper traffic wardens to help traffic flow, i will not pay to park in the town centre when i can shop free at all of the out of town shops, the town centre is dying, shops closing everywhere, we need free and plentifull car parking in the centre otherwise just shut the centre and leave everyone to out of town shopping, sefton mbc its your choice, people vote with their feet (i mean cars)

Yes I agree. Quite a few people have told me they will never shop in Southport town centre due to the parking regime.
