A large group of Travellers have forced their way into the disused park and ride at Kew. About 30 caravans are there.Last year the Travellers left behind large piles of rubbish for the Council to clear away.

Yes the place was humming with council officials checking them out, it was great to see Sefton acting so proactively.

The Dvla were there and Police support was in evidence congratulations to all concerned for acting so decisively.

Sefton clearly have stepped up to the mark to allay fears that they do not enforce legislation evenly.

I found a letter from the council this evening while walking my dog,found at the back of HomeBargains in the gutter.This will be about as much notice that these travellers will take from the notices issued to them......I cannot clip them on here,but have put them on the forum page for people to read.
