Merseyside Police have been in attendance at the Kew P&R following complaints from members of the public who wish to park their cars. A local walking their dog said they had been subjected to abuse from some of the women Travellers.

The Council need to issue a Section 77 Direction issued under the Criminal Justice And Public Order Act 1994 .
Dozens of Travellers have taken over the Kew Park and Ride site. A small section of the site is used as a car park and people who have a permit have been forced to park in Foul Lane on the grass.

There must be at least 40 caravans parked up on the site.

More mess for the Council to clean up when they leave.

Surely this was to be expected and anticipated,,I assume they didnt arrive altogether,so once the first few entered the sefton contingency plan should have been activated and dont tell us no one saw this starting,

It's good to see that the park and Ride car park is back in use, albeit not for the £million plus that was spent/wasted? on building it.

I was recently in that area and had a quick look at the site; litter, rubble, weeds et al.

I am at a loss as to how this site has been allowed to deteriorate into the state it is in.

Along come 'our travelling friends' and we all know what will happen, why it even looks like one of 'our travelling friends' is about to drop one of his loads as the picture shows the Hiab crane in the raised position, which is indicative of a lorry about to have the lever pulled to allow the tipper to be raised.

I presume at the end of the saga the council will then attempt a clean up and then, once again allow it to deteriorate?

If it's a Brexit vote on Thursday does it mean we can get rid of this scum?

    Good One,
Do we know from Reporter or Sefton what action is being taken and more importantly::How will the site be cleaned on departure, wages can not be approved unless authorised, or maybe there will be no departure,We await Seftons reply and hope Site Reporter can respond,

If you are down at the retail park you will see their landscaping, tree surgery and home improvemnt vans whizzing back and forth !

One also decided to take a short cut on the B+Q roundabout (the little one) by driving on the wrong side of the road for no reason what so ever ! They can drive anyway they want as no-one will pull them for it, they can't get fined and if they crash into you - they will just drive off !

It's not the first time they have used this site

As far as I remember the council allowed them to stay until they left of their own accord.

This is common practice for a lot of drivers on the mini roundabout at the rear of Morrisons. It's not only travellers who are bad drivers.

What Bye Law powers ????? It normally takes a week to go through the legal process. If you feel so strongly big man, get out there yourself and get them to leave.

If we do Brexit at least these Irish 'Pikeys' will have to show their passports to get into the UK and therefore they'll have to have a permanent address somewhere in Ireland so potentially victims will have redress through the courts.
Th EU has proven to be a 'romany's' charter also..................
