The emergency Paramedics were called to the Monument in Southport this morning after a woman was found collapsed in the remembrance section.
Unable to walk and clearly under the influence of drink or drugs the woman was initially uncooperative with the Paramedics.
Eventually she was placed in an ambulance and taken to hospital.
