Southport Football Club are delighted to announce that we have strengthened our existing Commercial & Corporate team, by bringing on board 2811 Sports Media.

2811 Sports Media is owned by David Broadbent.

David has over 10 Years Experience in Sports Marketing, particularly football, and has worked as Head of Partnerships at Oldham Athletic, Head of Commercial at Tranmere Rovers, Commercial Manager (Advertising & Events) at Huddersfield Town and most recently, Commercial Manager at AFC Fylde.

David has a wealth of experience and proven track record in this area, and has put together a number of record deals for some of the clubs he has worked with.

2811 Sports Media will work in conjunction with Sarah Davidson, to take forward our Commercial and Corporate offerings, and build new partnerships as well as working with existing and previous partners.

Phil Hodgkinson commented: “Having worked with David for a number of years, he was my first call when it came to expanding our Commercial & Corporate department. We have big plans for Southport Football Club, which means we need a bigger Commercial department.”
