Have we suddenly warped back to the `60`s?
Thought these meat festivals had been consigned to the bin long ago.

I wish when I was their age, tall, slim, attractive, I'd had the confidence to do what they are doing. I look back at baggy t-shirts & jeans and know what was hidden looked much better than most of those girls do! 25 years too late now.

As a female, I find this a sexist, outdated competition. No doubt there will be the usual men old enough to be their fathers and grandfathers wanting to go and perv at these young girls. As for someone saying it brings business to Southport - not all business is better than no business. Isn't it about time we stopped making young girls feel as though they need to have the perfect body and be pretty to somehow be acceptable in society. It is all very well for these older people organising it, but it does have an effect on young women/girls self-confidence.

I don't see any of them with their arms up their backs. They also look to be enjoying themselves in the pictures. You sound like a sad bitter biscuit.

Women on beaches all over the world walk around like this all the time and no one calls it a 'meatfest' or exploitative sexism..
Do it in Southport with more than its fair share of two faced dried up bitter hags and suddenly it's an issue....
And how abut looking at it from a refreshing new angle....Attractive women using their looks to take money from those willing to pay to watch or buy products they endorse....
Exactly WHO is being exploited exactly?....

In reply to VB123, nobody is "making" these girls do anything they don't want to do. My motto has always been "If you've got it, flaunt it."

... wanting to go and perv ...
Why do women call a man who finds women attractive a 'perv'?
If men didn't find women attractive, the human race would discontinue.
