RESULT Southport 1 Grimsby 2
Grimsby came from 0-1 down to take all three points against Sandgrounders in the Blue Square Bet Premier at Haig Avenue tonight. An og by Anthony Elding on 28 minutes saw Southport 1-0 up but Grimsby's Ian Miller equalised on the stroke of half time. Liam Hearn secured all three points for the visitors with a goal on 82 minutes.
Grimsby move up two places into 5th, one point behind Southport.
