Fire Crews attended a road traffic collision incident yesterday evening at the junction of Haig Avenue and Forest Road in Southport.
Wednesday, 20 June 2018 Southport
Crews were alerted at 17.37 and arrived at the scene at 17.41.
Two fire engines attended the incident. On arrival, crews found two vehicles involved at the scene, with both vehicles upright.
Two people were treated for injuries at the scene, with one person provided with additional oxygen by crew members.
MFRS were at the scene for around one and a quarter hours.

And it took nearly an hour and a half to get an ambulance on the scene for the injured driver involved.

The Police bike is by the cul-de-sac, mind you it is only about 100 yds from Forest Rd.

Ah so it is. Checking up on Google street view (August 2016) and the trees at corner of
Everard Road, behind the traffic light, are so big you can't see the houses facias. Have they cut back the trees or was this photo taken years and years ago?
