    A large truck has been abandoned on the Esplanade close to the Weld Road roundabout.The truck has been there since Monday afternoon according to local dog walkers.

    Sefton Council are aware of the vehicle and will be placing a removal notice on it in the near future.

    That wagon has been parked there on and off for months it's also been parked on the apron of the beach at weld road and also on westcliffe road the driver must be an owner driver with no compound in which to park it

    Just because it hasn't been moved for 5 days doesn't make it "abandoned." If it isn't causing an obstruction why should any action be taken?

    If only the council were as quick off the mark with travellers, who park up where they aren't wanted frequently, whereas this truck doesn't appear to be causing any problems at all.

    I used to drive coaches ,the days of Bundles. I parked on Mars hide estate, Presall Close area when going home for dinner
    The police advise me commercial vehicles may not park in residential areas. This vehicle by all accounts is doing nothing wrong, so why some person writes this article is a mystery. Maybe your overstaffed, trim your costs.
