Does anybody happen to know who currently owns the derelict building on Upper Aughton Road/Mosely Street (picture attached)
It was originally the wonderful "Birkdale Picture Palace" built in 1913, then later in life a warehouse for White Hudson, then an amusement equipment supplier in the 80's.
It's a terrible shame to see it in it's current state.

It only had a short life as a cinema closing in the early thirties due to poor soundproofing. You could watch a film from the 'pits' for 3d (1p)
