It is Gez, and it's Frank Stockley who's errrrrrr.................... behind him

He had a sister who may have been in the same year?

Don't recall a Frank Stockley but I've just been having a look at that rugby line-up from 1975 - this time with me readers on (age you know) and I recognise (I think)

Kev Farley, Anthony Mason, Ian Harrison, Tommy Hooker (brother John would have been in your year BDM) Victor Foulds and faces I recognise but can't put the names to and if any of you are reading this then I'm sorry !

I'm sure they weren't all in the same school year - some of them were older.

Nope, Anthony Mason is on the front row, 2nd from left with Ian Harrison on his right (on the end) and, I think, possibly Anthony Mullen on his left.

    Those hair-dos are just s p l e n d i d

    Hi again John,

    Front row left "unknown"?

Could it be Peter Brook? The first Leeds United supporter I ever remember meeting?

If so, he wasn't the last, where I live now I'm surrounded by 'em

(I know, I know........ My problem)

I remember basher well from my days at OLOL on games day we had to walk to Waterloo Road playing fields by the time we left the school at 3 oclock and walked there, got changed we had about 15mins football and then off home if you were the unlucky one who had been chosen to carry the team kit bag you then had to walk all the way back to school before setting off home. If we were playing a amtch at home basher would referee and stand in the centre circle with his big black overcoat on. I remember Miss Moran met her outside Holy Family church many years later could not believe how small she was as she always seemed so tall when we were at school her nickname I remember was "rubber neck" Miss Speakman took me for english her classroom was the library she was ok but we did'nt get on too well because it was not my favourite subject. Peter Fay was a real disciplinarian but ever so respected I went to his funeral and all the scallies who had left years earlier were there that says it all great bloke.

Well, the Misses Roach and Delacey are still with us. Betty Roach who became Mrs Liz O'Rourke is my stepmother and celebrated her 80th birthday this week and Anne Delacey is coming to the party in Hightown tonight. Contact me if you want to send a greeting. Mike
