Yes nick thank you that's a great ribble site but I thought it's strange you would put a modern bus 2004 in ribble livery

You never know but the firm I worked for, in the 60s, no longer exists so. I guess it's unlikely.

It is a bus owned by Stagecoach (PX04DPV) and as they operate a lot of the routes once owned by Ribble it may have been painted to celebrate this connection. The Ribble Enthusiast club also seem to have some involvement in its repaint. I seem to think Stagecoach did it with another bus several years ago.
In Manchester, First bus have painted some of their buses in the livery of the old municipal bus operators.

Yes thank you I knew you would sort this one I just thought it was odd that a 2004 bus would be in that livery

I was in Preston yesterday and that bus was there think it was on school run😊
There is a old Ribble bus in a farm yard near that new pub on formby bye pass 😊
