I ordered a taxi for myself and another passenger who used crutches because of a broken leg. The additional time which I took my colleague and myself to travel across the pavement seemed adequate for the driver to accept an alternative fare and leave. This left my colleague stuck in the middle of the town centre on crutches and awaiting another taxi.

When I rang to politely inform the taxi centre of this situation they saw fit to hang up without so much as an apology for my time. I feel disappointed and angry that a company can be so disrespectful against disability as well as being belligerent towards genuine complaint.
