So far in 2017 a staggering 856 drivers have been arrested by Merseyside Police for testing positive for drug driving.

The total amount for the whole of 2016 was 801 people.

The Roads Policing Unit Tweeted this information today in an attempt to get people to stop drug driving.

Before the idiot comes on claiming ALL drivers except him are drunk and high on drugs a little warning. I was watching a programme on tv about a bloke who's job entailed driving all over the country he had to have regular screening for drugs and alcohol for his employer. He had started eating "healthier", just like the moron advocates, and ate bread with all sorts of birdcage sweepings on it which included poppy seeds he failed the test as the poppy seeds eaten regularly leave opiates in your system and he was fired for eating healthy. Appeals fell on deaf ears but research by the tv programme showed that you can be putting your future at risk by eating certain foods and poppy seeds are a definite food to avoid.

Under the influence is under the influence, the vast majority of items have warnings on which many people disregard which in the the next couple of years many will do to their peril, I think he must have eaten a hell of a lot of the bread to have opiate traces in his body.

This may be so but I'm sick of driving behind cars full of young lads smoking cannabis. It stinks, its dangerous and it needs stamping out!

As I said the tv company had an independent assessment and it was found that he ate the bread every day toast for breakfast sandwiches for work.

I know drug driving wants stamping out BUT I put the word "Warning" in my post you don't have to be a SMACKHEAD to fall foul of the drug test as I have pointed out.
