I actually love doing my food shop with my little boy every Saturday afternoon, even if he does ask for everything in sight the only thing I don't enjoy is the dreaded "that's £90 please" at the check out and then I look down at my bags and think HOW!!!!!!!!!!!

I do know however there are things I can do to help myself, so I have been looking at tips and hints to help me and you save money!!!

1. Limit how many times you go shopping

Only go shopping once a week, that way your not forever `nipping out to the shops`.

2.Never go on an empty stomach

This is always my downfall, going on an empty stomach and then I end up buying everything I see, especially when I smell that gorgeous bakery smell

3.Write a list and stick to it

If you write a list you will be that busy following it and planning which aisle to go down next you'll miss out on all those amazing special offers, that really you don't need.

4.Do we really need this.....?

Ask yourself `do we really need this....?` If no, then don't do it.

5. Check out the bottom shelf

You will normally find the cheap options on the bottom shelf; whereas the most expensive products will be right on eye level........how sneaky!!!!!!!
