The picture you show looks like it is a Crystolian Glass Painting. Circa 1900 possibly Belgium , a Dutch style scene. The frame looks like it is a painted to look like a wood possibly, Padauk
Usually painted on the reverse side of Convex glass. Painted on paper then stuck to the glass and when the paper is rubbed away and removed all is left is the painted picture stuck to the glass.
Now in the 1980's the Chinese copied these painting and what you have looks very much like a copy. If you bring it into the shop I will be able to determine if a copy.
Also at the turn of the 19th century people painted striate on to the glass.
Your item is not very commercial and would not carry a high value old or reproduction.
