Merseyside Police is appealing for the public's help to trace a 25- year-old man from Liverpool who is wanted on recall to prison.



Michael Lee Bethell, whose last known address was in the Kirdale area, was released on licence on 21st February 2017 after serving a total of 99 days for a breach of a gang injunction, possession of Class B drugs, criminal damage and receiving stolen goods.

Bethell is wanted by officers after failing to comply with his licence release conditions and was recalled to prison on 24th February 2017.

Extensive efforts have been made by the police to find him but he remains outstanding and officers are requesting the public's help to find him.

Bethell is described as white, 5ft 9in tall, of medium build with short blonde hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who has seen Bethell, or who knows of his whereabouts, is asked to call Merseyside Police on the 101 number. People with information can also contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
