Gas fitter Ashley Russell allegedly confessed to a colleague and said he was "lucky" after victim Darren Pidgeon failed to identify him, a court has heard A man accused of spraying acid in a dad's face in road rage attack "jumped for joy" after he wasn't picked out of an ID parade, a court has heard. The prosecution have told Basildon Crown Court that Mr Pidegon was ambushed by Russell and his girlfriend Christina Storey, 32, after a near miss at a junction in Wickford, Essex, late at night.
