    I will elaborate.

Right. Long story short, the paintings Vanny acquired where not really my cup of tea and as such where left with the honourable leader "Vanny". I know when something is not for me and in this case all bar one where not for me, so I thought why take money from Vanny when I know I stand to loose his cash. I thought there is no point trying to quit while I was behind, so I gracefully declined his kind offer!

Well, I think that was short, at least shortish right?

Vanny; on a further note, have you acquired any 17th Century old masters or any rare Chinese vases? (I am sure you saw the news coverage of this event) & in a provincial sale room in all!

No, only kidding, but animals subjects are more my forte, we could perhaps restore this thread and start a new challenge with 19th Century animal oil paintings, only problem is I would probably be bidding against you when you are in the saleroom, so how would that work? :S

Thanks Vanny. I must re-iterate, I do appreciate your time in purchasing these oil paintings and for trying this scheme out! Thank you!

That is interesting. it does seem unbelievable! Having said that if there are any more finds in the bungalow I would be willing to take a share.

Shame but fair enough. I am disappointed though, would have been interesting to see the outcome.
