can anyone tell me anything about this walking stick, i bought it at a charity shop some years ago but would like to know something about it's age and maybe where it may have been made.

In a way it was not made it grew in a hedge row.

Then on day some one with a good eye came along and cut the branch out of the hedge. Then dried it over time and then put two black stones, glass in to the handle to give the impression of a dog.

I love it. great item.
Sticks like this can be worth anything from 50 to 100 years old. and worth any thing from £30 to £100 depending on the client bidding in the auction.

I bet the walking stick is very lonely if that is all you have in your hall.
