    Painting*

Also would just like to say do you think these are original, and would they be valued at around £300-£400 at Bonhams / Christes.

Also another pro claimed oil painting.

This has to be a print right, it looks it in the picture.

So what would you say the Joseph Galea Harbour Valetta Malta Signed Watercolour's are worth and do you think the second link is a print ??

The centre of the shop picture looks faded or water damaged.

    but the seller said oil.

The frame looks out of place

that shape usualy houses a mirror

    looks a repro frame

Also would you mind giving me the contact details, of your client who buys this artist's paintings.

How much do you think he would pay for these painting each, and how much do you think a for selling price for these paintings would be ??

    HAHA !! Don't even go there Briana, :L :L :L

    1. Sending a dud oil painting to Mr Nolan and leaving it there for a month...

    2. Asking Mr Nolan for help to value over 100 antiques ??

    Shall I go on ??

Really, just don't get involved Briana, if Mr Nolan wants to help me find a buyer for my item that is up to him, he does not need ventreqlist to talk for him. LOL!

you can ask an antique dealer for help but dont ask for his contacts,,that is wrong in my opinion, john has spent 40 years building up this kind of stuff. the whole point of antiques selling is finding your own buyers, thats the fun part,,how do you expect to make a career out of this game if you expect john to tell you what to buy and give you the contacts where to sell it...

john offered to find a buyer for my painting!!!

and most of the posts i make (at least 90% are purchases i have already made)not links to potential buys,,i will live buy the sword and die by the sword..

i am not asking john to make a living for me just inform me of my chances when i have already made the investment...i will then atleast learn from my mistakes..

Briana, please don't tell me what I can and can't do, in the same way I don't tell you what you can and can't do.

You are claiming the moral high ground over you posting things for John to look at after you have brought them instead of me who is about to buy them.

I simply do this to save money and not to get a cluttered house, as much as possible...

People have asked John to maybe find them a buyer for there stuff before on him, and at the end of the day it has nothing to do with you so I don't see why you are getting involved and why I am justifying myself to you.

I do not ask John to find me clients for all my purchases by the way, just this one, because he mentioned somebody who buys these paintings, so I thought why mention it, if not willing to help... ??

I have nothing else to say on the matter, so I will not be adding anything else, just if you feel neccesiary please send me a PM insted of spamming this thread up anymore...
