    Pocket Watch

Here is a 14K solid gold pocket watch I have (dust cover is not gold) I don't know the maker or the date but suspect it is from the late 1900's by the style of it. It is not running at the moment. It is key-wound and I have the key. Could you give me a valuation please.

Of course, I meant the late 1800's not the late 1900's. Sorry.

    Hi Wilky,

I have been down in the south of England buying and selling this week.
Just got back in time for Chrismas,
but you may not know that it is Christmas if that is your watch.

Watches like the one you show in the photograph are two a penny in England. Dealers buy them for the scrap gold. The cost to fix and repair them seem to be also more than the watch would be worth.
A nice watch like yours would cost under £250 in England with a guarantee
People prefere a full hunter. That is a watch that has a case over the case of the watch.

    Sorry worth under $100

If the case was gold 14 K

you could be looking at £700 to £1100.
