hi, very hard to tell the quality of the enamel from a photograph.
Also impossible to tell if it is gold.
You find if it is 9kt gold the better the quality and if 15kt or 18kt even better quality.
also you can read a lot from the back of an item.
If you bring it into the shop I could value it better for you.

It was nice of you to go to the trouble to bring the item in.
The item is just a piece of costume jewellrey.
SORRY to say Not gold, not old and not worth anything in the antique world.

These people disagree with me. They would ask over £100.

thank you for taking the time out to have a look at it!
I really am fine with that as am terrible with jewelery and always loosing them, have lost this on many occasions haha but kind of glad there will never be any temptation in selling it as even tho its worth nothing its sentimental to me as it is the only thing i have of my great grandma.

It is a micro-mosaic bracelet. Going by the quality it was probably a souvenir from Italy. The better quality micro-mosaic jewellery and those that depict scenes are very very collectable even if they are not gold or silver. There are many collectors out there for true micro-mosaic jewellery and they can pay a fair amount for a good vintage piece. This one is not a very good quality though.

I have only just seen your request - I am always late. antique dealers are not interested unless the item is made of silver gold or more. However - some costume jewellery can have a value higher than that of gold and silver - many of these antique dealers would be very surprised. The bracelet you have appears to be of italian origin and it is of course a mosaic bracelet - not a micro mosaic as a learned friend has mentioned. The item could possibly date to around 1920/1930's but that is really a guess as I would have to see it close up. There are collectors for this type of jewellery - London and the States is your best bet if you were to sell, and such jewellery has fashion periods as all antiques do. The value would depend on where you sold it ranging from about £8 to about £50.
