The Arriva all out bus strike that started on July 20th is about to enter its fifth week tomorrow after a ballot of union members rejected the latest improved offer.

Union members voted 1449 to 380 to reject the company's latest offer.

Previously the offer of a 8.5% pay rise was rejected. There were reports of the company want to change sick pay arrangements and pensions as part of the deal though we have no official confirmation of the details.

The latest offer, said to have been 9.6% was rejected by a ballot of members held yesterday and today. No details have been released to any other terms of the deal offered.
