New Chopper
I'll bet that heading got a few people looking!
We are expecting a new grandson this year (am I getting old, or is it odd that we know what sex the baby is?) and have been thinking about a present to celebrate the birth which, hopefully, would be an investment. Would a World Cup Raleigh chopper bike (about £200) be worth buying, simply to put away until he is 21?

Hi Marge...........no one knows what is going to happen in 21 years.
But lets say you bought a bike in 1966, the last time England won the world cup...........I am sure you would not have got a good return on your money.
Some thing go up and some things go down. I would not invest in the bike market.

The 60s and 70s retro market is quite big at the moment in city centre areas sutch as Manchester, London and Brighton. J. H Lynch prints and Chopper bikes can get you money now but I would have to agre with the above poster and say a Chopper bike would not be at the top of my list as an investment.
