the albert williams are interesting as long as they are origonal,,,
i think the last painting looks interesting too...
BRIANA... How have you been, long time no speak, how is the dealing going, still trading like hot cakes ?? (:
I have been assured they are 100% oil paintings, which have been inherited, I know it a story which I am sure is a very common scam, however the person I spoke to about these paintings, did not seem the type to think up a highly illusive scam, just seems right, also am paying via PayPal with security, and using my own delivery company. I like the painting of the clown playing golf. I also agree with the painting of the horse, however it has been sold. But the one above is still available at £30 + p&p.
interesting website,,,expecially when you see so called museums selling well known artists work all day long at low prices..(on ebay)
maybe i'm just too cynical..
but do you get what i mean,,,????
when i see a pair of albert williams paintings of such quality selling for £50 a pair when they should be £500 a pair i get suspicious, expecially when they are in brand new frames...!!!

have you seen the backs of them yet???
hope you make a fortune on them though.....
Well, you know people do genuinely do inherit items in the will, who may not appreciate the value, it does happen occasionally, I know they may be prints or copies, but I am relying on gut instinct, I have paid via PayPal, so if anything goes wrong, I should be covered.
They could of just been re framed it does also happen, lol.
Obviously, time will tell, I am just hoping for the best, but we will see, package has been arranged to collect the two oil paintings tomorrow.
i hope they are origonals but they wouldn't have reframed them to sell them for £25 each...
at least your covered with paypal though....
i just dont trust people that sell something with a previous sales record of thousands for say £120,,,thats all .....i dont understand i have seen people get some real bargains on ebay from that museum,,sureley they know the value of the item they are selling....

Show me a link where that has happened, if you go on eBay and go on completed listings, and then go to advanced search, and then search by seller, then if you type Museum_Of_Wales, a lot of there stuff sells for well into the thousands, remember Briana, only the top quality paintings by the artist sell for top money, some works by artists, who are well know don't always reach top money, and I am sure that the Museum_Of_Wales, would not list any items, which they thought may be of any huge value.
Also, they were inherited, so whoever passed them down could of had them re framed.
yeah i could be wrong about the albert williams paintings....just a hunch...
the museum you talk of must have a large amount surplus stock, there always selling,,and what kind of museum buys second rate paintings..? i.e (ones they dont think are top quality)

a museum of second rate paintings
They just don't buy the best of the best, I am sure of that, but still very good quality paintings. I was to shocked, when I found out about a museum selling paintings on eBay, but they do exist and have a huge art gallery in the copper mine, always getting in new paintings, and getting rid of old. They are also run buy a private individual so therefore, not run by the public, so they are aloud to list paintings on eBay, as the person who purchased them owns them.
