    Hi john and all

i am looking for a little help regarding this pair of japanese looking creamware? Vases i have.

I would like to know abit about them, if you could help that would be great

they are cream with oriental style transfers around them, could be oriental but also probably be dutch of english creamware.????

Look late 18th early 19th century to me...not sure though as i have never seen a pair like them.

    Thanks

    Hi

    very decorative.

transfer printing, well very hard to tell from photograph, but I would recon not made in Japan.

Looks stafordshire but you said cream, the photograph looks white. The deep well in the base looks a bit like Dutch.

I WOULD THINK THAT £45 WOULD BE ON THE HIGH SIDE TO SELL AT.

    Good luck.

    hello, thanks bill.

they look white because of the flash on the camera but they are in fact cream, dark cream like an old stoneware ginger ale bottle

    cream ware

may be Leeds, if they are fairly light in weight. Not Liverpool.

If very heavy they could be Japan but as I said before I doubt it.

I would need a better photograph they look 1900 but with a better photograph could be 1800, if so worth more money.

    thanks john

they look more 1800 than 1900 to me but here's more photo's to hopefully give you a better look.

It looks like I can see a hint crackle ware.

May be the items are a lot heavier than they look.

    could be Chinese.

That swish in the bottom of the pot when the clay was soft I often see on Chinese items

Still hard to tell and judge by photo
