Looks like you have been around the carboots again.

The drinking cup as you call it has very little value even though it is unusual and very well made.

WHAT MAKES YOU SAY IT IS NOT SILVER
not everything that is NOT hall marked is not silver.
It does not look like it is silver

IF and I say IF it was SILVER it would be a different matter.
number 1721 is only a number and not the date

People do like cherubs so I have to say it could be looked on as "a collectable"

So if I had to put a price on it it would have to be under £20.
Going by the photograph there looks like some writing on the bace of the mug. This would be the makers name. If you could post the name and makers mark this would help in dating the item.
