It's all about the money!

It’s a matter of incredulity to me that very many of the less well-off people in our society either don’t vote at election/referendum times, or when they do vote, vote for the very things that are going to keep them where they are – poor! Conservative/Brexit.
A lot of the UK’s troubles are blamed on our membership of the EU, ignoring for some reason the fact that successive Conservative governments have inflicted upon us pretty well all of them, and it has been nothing at all to do with the EU as we have our sovereign government, and yes it is a sovereign government, we have representation within the EU and have helped to form or influence most of the rules and regulations therein and which propaganda from the far right over decades through their media has negatively chosen to blame on our membership of the EU, and like the suckers we are we believe them!
Taking back control, what does that mean? And who do you think will be taking back this “control”, the people? Dream on, it will be the powerful financial and business interests (heavy financial backers of the Conservative and Brexit Parties) and of just a very few people and who have been behind this whole Brexit farrago, including of course, Mr Farage and his financial interests. Nothing wrong with business per se, I’m in business myself. When business does become a problem is when it becomes all about the money – greed, and I’m afraid to say, that is what Brexit is really all about, enabling some powerful business people to avoid all the rules and regulations which keep us ordinary mortals safe, and with safe food, services and products but which limit their activities as they don’t want the regulatory hassle of making their products or services consumer friendly and safe as it costs them…. Money!
Yes, but, you might say freeing up regulation creates more businesses and jobs. But these would be low wage jobs and zero hours contracts as you see now but much more prevalent, after all, we would have to compete in the world markets, we wouldn’t have the secure trading arrangements we enjoy today within the EU - our biggest trading partner. No, we would have to lower our standards and accept lower standards from others in order to compete. We do already trade with the rest of the world as EU members but under the rules and regulations we have jointly agreed as members of the EU, this ensures all goods and services from wherever they come from; inside or outside the EU are safe for us as consumers.
A lot of pressure will be put on us to trade with the US after Brexit (if it happens). The EU (that’s us by the way) will not buy certain food products from the US due to the US’s lower standards and poor animal welfare in the human food chain. When we are desperate for trade deals post Brexit (if it happens), we will have no bargaining power in trading with the US and we’ll buy their inferior food and products. Oh, and they won’t be labelled as US produce, so we won’t know (government source). All the food produced within the EU (that’s us by the way) and outside of the EU has to meet stringent standards before it is allowed to be sold to any of us in the European Union. That will end and we’ll not know what we’re buying to eat or use!
The President of the USA Mr Trump is dying to make trade deals with the UK after Brexit (if it happens). He has mentioned how much he’s like to get involved with our NHS if you remember on his last state visit to the UK at a State luncheon, and the then PM Mrs May had to hurriedly divert attention by saying that it would have to be negotiated. What strong hand would we have to negotiate with under those circumstances of desperation for trade deals. There are big and powerful American Corporates with bigger turnovers than the UK’s GDP who would see our NHS as a gift for money making. Insurances companies selling medical insurance and which eventually won’t cover whatever you’ve got wrong with you unless you can afford the massive premiums that would result.
Keep voting Conservative and Brexit and we have all this to look forward to and worse.
