Smiling Rufford and Holmeswood residents joined for an official village photograph on Sunday to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
It was taken at Rufford Village Hall - replicating a similar photo from 2000.
At 11am, runners of all ages and abilities were invited to take part in the Rufford 5k, which started from the village hall.
Prior to the event, a tractor and farm vehicle parade took place from Holmeswood to Rufford village hall, and there was a great display of pictures featuring Rufford through the years.
Said one local: “Villagers came together for the photograph which gave them the chance to catch up with old friends.
"There were many new faces as well, and everyone enjoyed looking through the photos of Rufford and reminiscing on the past.”
Also present were officers from the local rural policing team.
