    Report: Steve Rouke

A new business growth group's launched in Ormskirk with QLocal's Roger Blaxall invited along to its first meeting held at Ormskirk RUFC on Friday.

And the town's new 'Business Growth Network' is a product of Ormskirk itself, through a collaboration of two recent graduates from Edge Hill University (Carl Bungay of St. James’ Place Wealth Management and Steve Rouke of Livewire Mechanical and Electrical Services) and Ormskirk Rugby Club.

The group was set up to challenge the stereotypical networking groups, to change the status quo - and to offer something different than a bland coffee morning once a week.

The group will focus on growth of all angles for the businesses involved and the local community - generating leads and business, local businesses supporting local businesses, support structures for employment and recruitment, growth programmes and a real push on opportunity the group creates to support young people in the local area and provide them with skills needed.

The group has some real interesting parties involved already, with the local Department for Work and Pensions in attendance along with an innovative social enterprise called An Inclusive Future CIC who already do great work within the community. These parties place alongside the other 12 local businesses which attended the first meeting will hopefully drive some real businesses and opportunities through Ormskirk.

We aim to start the group again around 18th January (to be confirmed) and deliver the networking event bi-weekly. The target is to expand the group to 30 members by the end of February, and continue to welcome guest speakers at the event.

Our launch saw Michael Lynn of Nurture deliver a presentation on his future research in nutrition on children recovering from cancer treatment and his new business Nurture which delivers nutritional education programmes to primary school children.

We are working closely with Paul Brash of Kirkwood Wilson Accountants, Burscough, who has recently set up the Burscough Business Hub, to ensure there are no clashes of the two groups so we can deliver successful networking groups in both the Ormskirk and Burscough areas.

If any businesses in Lancashire (or further afield) are interested in joining the group they can sign up and get more information from Steven Rouke at steve@livewireme.co.uk

If the business is growing, then new jobs will appear and the demand for specialists will increase. In the opposite case, many have to change their place of residence in search of better working conditions. If you are in this situation, then this site https://jobpro.ae will be useful to you when you'll looking for work

I know that running a business is not easy at all. There are many obstacles which are hidden from view. So, I can even see it by youtube example. Nobody knows that I bought likes and views when I wasn't popular and I really wanted it. So, you can take a look at the service when I buy them. Perhaps, you will like it
