Burscough recovery firm CPS came to the rescue of a number of motorists with a sinking feeling earlier this week.
The drivers fell foul of a sink hole - now repaired - on Hall Lane, Lathom.
Ironic that LCC are displaying a poster urging us all to look out for each another - just what CPS did!
This from its FB page on Thursday: 'We are currently dealing with a major incident on Hall Lane in Lathom. A small sink hole has opened up overnight causing blow outs on vehicles.
'There are already 10-15 vehicles with punctures, and we have deployed five recovery units to shuttle these cars to local tyre shops while a service technician is at the scene changing tyres for those who can’t.'
