The Ormskirk teen involved in a serious RTA with a coach on County Road last Sunday is now home, safe and well.
The 13-year-old is recovering at his Green Lane home after being treated at Alder Hey where he was airlifted by Air Ambulance; a family friend collected him with his mum last Thursday.
Rumours were circulating in Ormskirk School where he attended that he had his mind more on his Pokeman cards than crossing busy County Road safely last Sunday afternoon - but that was rubbished by the mum of the lad he'd visited on County Road.
"He's a sensible lad and says he looked both ways before crossing," she told QLocal's Roger Blaxall yesterday morning.
Witnesses are still beings sought for the RTA; Police interviewed the Holmeswood coach driver at the scene last Sunday afternoon.
