An Aughton wedding on Saturday has caused quite a stir locally...
Here's chapter and verse on the ceremony at Aughton Park Baptist Church- quite apt considering it was Pastor Billy McCurrie's eldest daughter Natasha who got married!

Said Billy: "Chris and Natasha booked 4th July for their wedding day over a year ago.
"They had hoped for a June wedding but work commitments pushed the date into the first weekend in July.
"The lockdown put everything in doubt but with restrictions lifting on July 4th the wedding was able to proceed; had a June date been pencilled in initially as planned it may well have been 2021 or later before another suitable date could be booked.
"While we were unaware of the looming C-19 pandemic last year, God who knows all things best knew what was looming and in His goodness ordained the wedding take place on 4th July.
"While numbers were considerably reduced the happy couple were married at 1pm with family and friends in attendance.
"There was no reception or honeymoon following, both events have been put on hold until the UK returns to some sort of normality."
Chris, 30 from Tarleton and Natasha, 30 from Ormskirk are now living in St Helens; Chris works in building regulation control and Natasha for Swissport.
