A popular village pub closed its doors in memory of a young biker who died on Friday in a fatal RTA in Bickerstaffe.
Josh Daly, a member of staff at the Scotch Pier in Lydiate, tragically lost his life after the crash near the Four Lane Ends roundabout on Friday lunchtime.
A FB tribute reads: "Anyone who ever met Josh will remember him for his infectious smile and his genuine enthusiasm for whatever the subject matter.
"He will be greatly missed by everyone at the Scotch Piper; staff and customers alike and will forever be in our hearts.
"Our thoughts now are with his family who have our deepest sympathy and who should know that we are here for them to help in any way we can.
"As a mark of respect, the pub will remain closed today (Saturday) for general trade but will open from 2pm so that staff, friends, family and close customers can call in to support one another, remember this wonderful young man and sign a book of condolences if they wish to."
