Year one St Anne's pupils were all at sea after learning about the Titanic as part of their history curriculum.
A model Titanic awaited them as they arrived at school, and the children learned facts about the 'unsinkable' ship and events leading to the most famous maritime disaster in history.
They arrived at school dressed in their costumes and stepped aboard with their tickets; second and third class passengers were not very impressed that first class passengers joined the Captain's table to enjoy a fine-dining experience!
Joanne Preston, the school's curriculum leader, said: “They had a wow day to launch the topic by dressing up, having afternoon tea and 'sailing' across the Atlantic!
"Their celebration coincided with the anniversary of the sinking of this famous ship.”
