Residents of Ormskirk's Stocks Hall care home were delighted to receive beautiful letters and colourful drawings from thoughtful Crow Orchard primary school pupils in Skelmersdale.
The youngsters were keen to share details of their hometowns and activities and inspire happy memories for residents to share with staff members.
Manager, Geraldine Ball said: "These letters raised so many smiles as those living at the home enjoyed reading about the life of those who had taken the time to write to them.
"There were tears of laughter and joy. We are heartened to know how much kindness and generosity is in our neighbouring communities.
"From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to say thank you to Crow Orchard School."
