You could call it bubble and strife in Ormskirk - and a number of eagle eyed QLocal readers have contacted the busy news desk about a two week old water leak in the town centre.
It emanates from just outside the opticians on Moor St. and was bubbling away merrily yesterday evening; the good news is the United Utilities will be fixing it on 18 July.
One lady who rang UU spoke of the 'cheeky madam' who answered her call, after being told she had rung the wrong department.
"I thought that was her job to connect me to the right department," she told busy reporter Roger Blaxall last night.
"The leak is not even on their own website which monitors water losses which is why I called in the first place."
