A small Aughton church with a big heart said it with flowers - and tins of tuna and biscuits - as it celebrated Easter.
Folk at Aughton Park Baptist Church were determined to spread Easter joy with a blooming lovely gift to those elderly members who've been missing over the last year.
It also marked Easter Sunday with a special donation of goodies for the nine students who regularly attend along with those gift bags for local old folk who have been shielding in and around Ormskirk, Aughton, Burscough and Southport.
Last night's service had a presentation by Southport evangelist Vinny Commons (right) who until lockdown helped with the church's outdoor work in Ormskirk town centre; he organised a special Zoom meeting for Young Life's 'speak out' Easter weekend in Southport with former footballer Kristian Dimond who's now a church pastor in Barry, S.
