Whichever way you refer to it wouldn't make any difference to someone who understands how it works, but aperture and f-stops is something that confuses a lot of people who are learning the basics, as GL is.
Aye.
When it twigs it twigs, and then its like learning to ride a bike... you never forget.

This time I played about a bit more with the 'tone mapping'.
Anyway im free on sunday, I'll be out exploring looking for better examples of moving water to get back onto the subject...

Nowt wrong with getting addicted to photography GL - it's a perfectly respectable addiction!
When using P.matix beware of the saturation levels when there's one very dominant colour (as in your shots, the green).
OTT HDR is a bit of a Marmite - love it or hate it. Personally I like it; when done well it's got an artistic, painterly quality. But it can be done in a subtle way too and only a trained eye would know it was HDR. Definitely something to have fun with if you like experimenting though!

hehe yep I have Long exposures take a long time to buffer in RAW too, toooo long, I think if I take a 60 sec exposure (night) It feels like Im waiting about 60 seconds before the picture appears in the LCD
