Pedoja: Are the wire things on the feeding platforms to prevent water rats etc. from scoffing all the seed?

Hi Ped.
We went last Monday, its a very pleasant walk but we missed seeing a kingfisher by a couple of minutes.
I didn't manage any photos apart from a couple along the canal and Fettlers Wharfe. A very nice place for coffee and home made cakes!!!!.

Sorry Miss, we won't do it again.
Just a bit of friendly banter.
To-day I have proved everything said about me was true!!!!!!
I went on a wonderful walk round Sefton Park. The Palm House was looking superb and the staff were thrilled they have their first ever banana's. Took a superb photo! The flowering cherries formed a canopy by the lake. Took a superb photo.!
A swan was sitting on its nest preening itself. Took a superb photo! The Daffodils are still looking stupendous. Took a superb photo!. And Finally......walked to Otterspool prom and back to Albert Dock where I saw the statue of the BIG BANANA. Took a superb photo!.
MY CAMERA WAS ON BLACK AND WHITE. Oh S...t

Well first of all Thingy, there is no "z" in Chas, please spell my name correctly from now on. I know people up High Park don't talk proper but neither do scousers, secondly I was not born in Barkdale but Childwall " Therefore that makes me a scouser and I feed in cages and any scraps I can find in the gutter. I have lived in Southport longer than you, 43 years to be exact, so maybe I am more naturalised than you
