A long time since I was down here and I am sure some of you will have fond memories of The Kicking Donkey in Narrow Moss Lane. I cant remember if I have ever been in!!
Gas works with the Tower of Scarisbrick Hall in the distance.

Excellent pictures
What a surprise to see a picture of Scarisbrick Hall. I went to school there a few years ago (around 1976). Is it still a school? Mr. Oxley was the headmaster at that time.

nice to see this website is not just looked at by poeple living here, must be nice if you live away but can still see what happends in your old town, wish it was the same in my case, but not everybody can have a good site like this one

excellent...kicking donkey was my Friday treat when I worked at the Ormskirk Advertiser. Good food then and good ale.
