Just wanted to check before I marked it in the calendar.

BTW, as an aside, I think it's fascinating the way you often go off on tangents, avoiding the main crux of the discussion to discuss trivia rather than respond to anything that might undermine your point or position.

Moving on...…
The BBC/Question Time is investigating 2 complaints from Dianne Abbott.
The first complaint re disputing poll results the BBC has apologised for not making it clear other polls proved Abbott correct on her claims(Labour ahead or level).
Bruce was not lying as she quoted the latest YouGov poll which did
show the Tory's ahead in the polls.
Fair complaint to Abbott.
2nd complaint
Quote
"Diane Abbott has accused BBC Question Time of legitimising racist abuse after claims that the shadow home secretary was singled out before and during Thursday night’s episode of the political discussion programme.
The Labour politician claimed she had been unfairly mocked in the warm-up and had been interrupted more often than other panellists by Fiona Bruce, the programme’s new chair.
“We are appalled by the treatment of Diane Abbott on BBC’s Question Time,” a spokesperson for Abbott said. “It was clear that a hostile atmosphere was whipped up, propped up by reports of inappropriate and sexist commentary in the audience warm-up session.
“A public broadcaster like the BBC should be expected to be a model of impartiality and equality. The BBC cannot claim anything of the sort when analysis of the programme shows that the only black woman on the panel was jeered at and interrupted more times than any other panellist, including by the chair herself...…"

If the accusations are true and findings in Abbotts favour Fiona Bruce must resign.

Most people use calendars to mark/record memorable dates (birthdays/anniversaries/appointments/events)... although I'm sure you already knew that.
It was perfectly clear (from my references to previous posts) that I was suggesting it was a memorable date in that you appeared to be actually agreeing with what Salus had posted - something which appears rare on these forums.

You are usually quite good at providing links to your sources - can you provide a link which details an actual apology as all I've seen is a statement on their website (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-46943667) which says ...
"The BBC also said it reviewed the polling figures used in the programme, and that while a YouGov poll on the day of the programme put the Conservatives ahead, Ms Abbott was "right to say other polls suggested Labour was either ahead or tied".
The BBC added: "We should have made that clear.""
That's a statement, not an apology.

Poor Salus.
I would say chin up old bean!
It matters little who agrees with one or not.

It really pains me when I read of Diane Abbott claiming the BBC were 'legitimising racist abuse' because she was interrupted more or jeered more on Question Time.
She's interrupted because she is one of the arch wafflers endemic within the political elite.
She was jeered, and perhaps had fun poked at her not, because of her race or gender, but - because she has been shown to be more than a bit dim on a number of occasions.

That is why Question Time is so entertaining with DB on it!
Absolute scream as an MP!
Let's see what the BBC investigation brings up.
If racism was found-no question fine the BBC and Bruce should resign.
I need confidence in the programme being about politics and not committing racism.
