Brexit is like watching your library burnt down by people who can not read.

It was reported that the UKIP library had been burned to the ground yesterday.
Their leader, Gerard Batten, (and yes, I had to look it up), was reported as being 'distraught' because, at least two of the books destroyed hadn't been coloured in yet.
In a later report, Tommy Robinson was quoted as saying - he was glad books held by UKIP weren't 'coloured'.

“‘In and out’, it’s a very hard decision. It’s like the other day, my flatmate was making me a peppermint tea, and he said ‘would you like bag leaving in, or taken out?’ If you leave the bag in, on the whole the cup of tea itself will get stronger, and it might appear that the bag is getting weaker, but it’s now part of a stronger cup of tea. Whereas if you take the bag out, the tea’s now quite weak, but the bag itself goes directly in the bin.” – James Acaster
“I was surprised when people kept voting to keep Wagner on X Factor, and ever since then it’s never surprised me, our ability to mess up a vote.” – Alex Brooker
“How many Brexiters does it take to change a lightbulb? Whoa, whoa, whoa. I didn’t say there was a lightbulb.” – Anon
“Let’s get one thing clear, personally I in no way believe that all those who voted for Brexit are racist or stupid. People voted based on the information (albeit limited and misleading) put before them by politicians. We could just as easily have arrived at a result by counting belly buttons. Innies Vs Outies. Turns out we are a nation of outies.” – Sajeela Kershi
“A lot of Leave voters say ‘Stop complaining, it’s democracy!’ Well democracy doesn’t always work. If five people democratically elect to take your iPhone, it’s a mugging.” – Dane Baptiste

Brexit is like ...
letting your kids choose what they want to eat for their evening meal, then shaking your head as they choose the huge container of chilli which had been forgotten about, hidden away in the back of the fridge, followed by all the chocolate and sweets they can find.
When you then point out that the chilli should have been binned from the fridge some time ago as it was well out of date, that also having that much sweets and chocolate would severely upset their digestion probably giving them the wild *****s for the rest of their now soon to be short lives, you then have to endure their "we had a vote and we won" comments and get accused of being a Tea-moaner!
Despite the parental urges, and losing the will to live with all the "uphold democracy" vibes, you resign yourself to watching them get what they voted for, whilst wearing a "Told you So" t-shirt and stocking up with enough toilet paper that you can stick in the fridge ... hoping it will be enough to wipe all the mess that you predicted to the "We Know Betters".

You are all like a load of protesting school children who failed to answer a simple maths problem because they could not understand it. Under the snowflake society of the present day - they go on to blame everything 'we were not told', 'it was not made clear' 'they never said that they would be testing us on it' ' it was too difficult for us to understand' instead of admitting that they never even bothered to learn what they should have done. The majority of the class got the maths problem right - because they had studied and learned! Had the others done the same, they would have had no recourse to complain because they, too, would have got it right! Get the picture?

Your homework hasn't been marked yet. Nor can it be marked until the actual consequences of Brexit manifest themselves. Until that time nobody can claim to have got all of the answers right.

Brexit is like an endless display of uncharitable mind-reading where speculation on motivations is declared as fact.
The delivery of Brexit is like a watching a midwife who detests children try to perform the job.
Brexit is like watching a power-lifter being persuaded into becoming a tightrope-walking act.
Brexit is like tinnitus?

This is the funniest thing on here by a long margin.
Its a losers remoanathon.
Please there must be more.
I feel like I'm watching the Jeremy Kyle show, you should start a support group
my names XXXXX and I'm a remoaner.
Its so reminiscent of a group of jilted, pot bellied balding has been's whining into their drink as their old partner drives past smiling with the new younger model.

True! But an alternative answer would have been devastating - the evidence for that is in abundance.

Like I said - do your homework! The alternative would have been devastating! You had a choice between corruption and greed - or Britain.
