A cull of the population presumably.
We are told by the Government that there are more in employment than ever, the problem is they have reduced the taxes for the rich and now they are expecting the poor to pay, we must start collecting the taxes due from the rich and famous and the multinational companies.

And increase pay for the masses so they can afford to save for retirement.

If people are going to live longer, I guess we are going to have to work longer, Or make our own provision.

Exactly.
But millions are in such low pay they have no chance of making their own provision.
Many are on such low pay that they pay no tax either so there's less for the services that are funded from tax.

I'd say not on this occasion. Not a logical fallacy. A direct comparison.
Effectively wiping out the poorest, the oldest, the weakest in society. Demonising 'others'. You don't see any similarity?

If I made a similar link with the farthest left of the present Far Left politics you would be outraged!
I am not outraged.
Logically it still comes down to the basic fact 'Free Movement' in Europe 'rationing' of Government funded services is inevitable.
I don't have to agree with the rationing but I have voted to address part of the cause
or at least push for total accountability on all Governments to the UK.

We do make our own provision, the old age pension.

The far left is no better. But we aren't talking about the far left. There is no 'far' left party in contention for government. We are, however, talking about the current government. The actual people in power and their policies.
Policies such as dying universal credit claimants be forced to attend work assessments. Are you outraged about that? I am. I'm beyond livid. You think immigrants have caused that?
Immigration is a smokescreen. A distraction. If you want balance of finances in this country, get the rich to pay more tax. Get huge multinational corporations to pay ANY tax, much less the tax they should be paying. Whatever the benefits bill is, it is nothing compared to the tax dodgers, the offshore account holders, the crooks and thieves supported by this current government.
Sort that lot out, then tell me people need to retire at 75 after paying in all of their lives. Tell me dying people need benefit sanctions after the filthy rich stop looking after the filthy rich.

There will be a lot of Stennah,or similar stair lifts being fitted then, for those workers UNABLE to work until they are 75 years old,as they won't be able to climb their own staircases due to their joints seizing up,from working up to their retirement age....
