I suppose I will just have to drink more.
I do wonder though why the glass cannot be recovered during the normal recycling process rather than bring in a separate collection. i

In Chorley had blue bin for glass and plastic since moved here 4 years ago. Same size as others 240l bin. Collected fortnightly though can just about go 4 weeks but it really is then full

But I rely on a few bottles in with the cardboard & plastics to help weigh it down in the constant gales we have been having. :-)

It's rather ironic that the bins are made of plastic.

So another bin is being added, remember the last time that glass was collected in those smaller green boxes,as I get woken up on the collection mornings, after working nights, with the boxes of glass being thrown into the rear of the collection wagons,so the nightmare collections will be starting again....Thank you Sefton Council....

I rarely have glass, if ever.
What happens if you ignore it when it gets to the recycling plant and put in normal recycling?

We have this too, brown bin for newspapers, card, glass & plastics but now they are giving us the extra blue one for glass only. 4 bins in total!
