Part of Shore Road in Ainsdale has been turned into a public toilet.More than 20 portaloos have been placed close to the beach entrance. Thousands of people are on the beach which has been opened for car parking by the Council during the hot weather.

Very odd placement !
They are approx 150yds from the beach entrance, plus the distance from where you are located on the beach from the entrance - quite a long way.

But not very far from the permanent toilets at the beach entrance, maybe 30 metres or so? Hardly a huge difference in distance.

Looking on Google maps, its more like 100mtrs from the existing toilet block to the Portaloo's
