That is how I imagine 'them'. A toothless old dog, yapping angrily from behind his keyboard.
Possibly with a small bone in one hand.

Said, a sheep and a dog. Especially on the weekend.
The said foreign dog only got as far as the bin. Said used to turn up the volume on the crystal radio receiver while it listened to Radio 5 Live. She'd keep an eye on it via her nests of security cameras, cunningly hidden in her hanging baskets.
I've just heard about the first dog to be diagnosed with Covid-19 in Canada. I know Jomarv doesn't like to wear a mask, but I'm a bit worried about his/her 4 legged companions. If the matching sheepdog contracts the virus it might endanger Shaun the Sheep. As a responsible pet owner (s)he should buy a mask for the dog. I thought that this one might be a good choice, it would make Shaun happy to think that he's not the only sheep in the flock.

The problem is there are thousand of responsible parents out there who through no fault of their own have suddenly found themselves short of work and short of money but with commitments like Council Tax, Water Rates, rent or mortgage payments that still have to be met and a Government who will only meet 67% of their wage.

Unfortunately not everyone's life is plain sailing. 72% of benefits claimants have a job that is too low paid to support themselves. Some women have children to men who refuse to pay for their offspring (one of my daughter's kids has a dead beat dad). And vice-versa. Some families break up.
There are hundreds of ways that, through no fault of their own, people need help. There are people with good jobs, a mortgage, life is plain sailing, who end up homeless.
And there are some who are just bad parents.
None of the above are the children's fault.
I suppose there's a choice. Help out the 14 million+ in poverty, or take the kids off the people who can't afford to support them properly. So that's millions of kids in care. That's quite a bill for us. Or we could feed these kids when they need it.
In the grand scheme of things, in the cost of this pandemic, austerity, Brexit, the financial crash that we are facing, feeding these kids is small change. And judging by the reaction and generosity of those people and businesses that can hardly afford it themselves, the good people of this country feel the same way.

To be frank most parents do take responsibility and most put their children first and for that matter second and third before they have what they want.
For the minority that expects someone else ie the taxpayer to pay up no matter what they do then you could deal with them for us

Nobody can be certain they will be in secure paid employment for the 18 years required to bring up a child.
You can even stay in the same secure job but if your pay increases at a lower rate than inflation then you gradually become poorer.

I'd steer clear of the subject of children if I were you. Or fantasies about being a 40 year old man in a kid's school. The police might be interested.
Paedo.
Saddo! The police are quite well aware as it was in all the National papers you seem to have missed! An asylum seeker with a bald head and age wrinkles claimed to be a fourteen year old so that he would not have his asylum turned down. Parents objected and began moving their children out of the school in which he had been placed.
Not me sunshine - I hold a current DBS certificate.
It takes a long time for the penny to drop with you people.

I suppose you have ruled yourself out from ever being admin.
As in the first place you haven't minded me to report any of your posts, there's no sense in claiming to be re-minding me to report any of your posts. Feel free to give your head a shake.
I'm afraid you're baa-king up the wrong tree!

Asylum seekers and children in one paragraph. You're just missing something about gay people, and Covid being no worse than a little flu for your four corners.

But who knows what DBS stands for on your supposed certificate!

Sounds like they're in desperate need of a good vet.
Instead they have to get by with Dr. Do-little.
