The root cause of this flare up is the proposed forced expulsion of Palestinian families from the occupied East Jerusalem neighbourhood of Sheikh Jarrah, who have been facing multiple court cases filed against them by several pro-settler organisations since 1972.
The United Nations has already warned the planned expulsions could amount to “war crimes”.
There have also been confrontations as Palestinians gathered for iftar meals – the breaking of Ramadan fasts – at the homes of those being evicted. The families have since appealed to Israel’s Supreme Court.

Sure we didn’t create religion, we did make a damn poor job of “freeing” the mandated territory of Palestine from British rule.
The fighting started almost as soon as we left, prior to that Britain was the enemy to both sides, a real catch 22.

Quote donkey.
"One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter."
Hamas is a confirmed Radical Islamic Terrorist Group.
It is they who are firing indiscriminately on Israeli Jews and Arabs.
It is important to distinguish between Terrorism from Gaza controlled Hamas and Fatah controlled Palestine not firing on Israel.
Not to do so is ignorant and shameful in the memory of those killed
by terrorism.
In most countries including the EU have a shoot to kill policy on terrorists.
Do you think the terrorist who killed in the Manchester Arena were 'Freedom Fighters'?

No excuse for war.
All that aid money to Gaza over many years gone on bombs.

Thank you, so to answer your original question, I didn’t say I supported radical Islamist terrorism. I said that 50 years of military rule and land theft would likely give rise to such groups forming.
The ANC and Nelson Mandela were listed as terrorists by the US government until 2008. In many countries around the world, people fighting for justice and equality are considered to be terrorists.

So now you are saying there is no difference between Nelson Mandela and Hamas?
Did the ANC fire rockets from schools into civilian populations?

I understand your argument this is different.
Hamas have been designated as a terrorist group not by their enemies by their actions.
They terrorize the Palestinian population.
They are against peace talks execute Palestinians who have links to Jews as traitors.
Unsurprisingly their 'democratic' vote as leaders is iffy hence the Palestinian Authority's anxiety their autonomy could be lost to a Palestine wholly ruled by Hamas.
A two State solution is my wish too.
It has to be done on the basis of peace so that in the future two state both Palestine and Israel can deal with the inevitable radicals outbursts from all sides that occur
in all countries.

No. If you’d bothered to read my post, that’s not what I said at all.

It would appear that you are at odds with the Israeli Government who seem to be hell bent on clearing the Arabs out, they are trying to evict Palestinians out of the homes and towns to build for Jewish settlers and it is funny that every year at Eid trouble starts because the Israelis harass those attending Mosques and their other Holy Places.

With respect, learn to write clearly then. Readers read the words you write, not what you really intended to say.
But more importantly, just because some non-terrorist organisations get incorrectly labelled as such, that doesn't give Hamas a get -out. Or perhaps you support Hamas. Please make it clear that you do not.

The Semitic peoples are a stiff-necked lot. Neither side will ever back down and thinks that the way to deal with the other is to escalate the violence. My mother, years ago, had a Jewish friend who visited Israel and came back absolutely seething about the way the Jews treated the Palestinians. The rest of Israel's neighbours live only to wipe them off the face of the earth. There's no middle ground.
Trump unbalanced the situation by favouring Israel and telling the Palestinians that they need to compromise or leave the negotiations. Much as I hate to agree with anything Trump says there was some merit in this. Personally, I would let everyone who wants to leave the country then tell those who remain to duke it out until only one is left standing. I realise this is never going to happen but maybe, if the UN was what it is supposed to be, it could step in and take over the countries while brokering talks.
Or let the WVS sort them out.
I have no answers to the whole ungodly mess.

So, in other words you support Hamas. It's your choice.
But Iet's hope not too many other folk think it's smart to flaunt flags with clench fists.
