Of course it's not all men but I think there is a worrying underlying frame of mind that even the nicest, most family oriented men seem to agree on and that is that they need a place that is only for men so they can get away from the wife/partner/girlfriend for a while presumably because they feel under pressure to get away from what they see as unreasonable demands or expectations of behaviour they can't always live up to.
So, mancave where you can fart while you watch sports, to men-only club where you can swear when you want to and talk politics or work that the little woman wouldn't understand, to locker room where you can talk about grabbing 'em by the p%**y, to what'sapp messages that are completely misogynist.
And yes, I know women like to dish the dirt with their girlfriends but they rarely then go out and attack a man no matter how much they might fee like it.

Am I normal or are these predatory males the norm?
You're perfectly normal SF, as I hope I am.

Just an example of how young people view seniors these days.
I would have said to him "What are you going to do to earn it?"

"The court heard he is alleged to have taken the woman back to a Premier Inn after visiting two pubs in St Albans."
What did the woman think would happen if she is invited back to a hotel? She could have declined to go. Or am I missing something obvious?

Classic case of victim blaming (again).
You really are quite a disgusting person.

And you are very shallow minded. I do not know enough about the case to apportion blame - but you appear to know more than I. I will wait until I hear both sides of the story before blaming anyone, thanks.

Ha, that’s a bit rich coming from you. Going back to a previous post of yours (the Sarah Everard thread) you’ll be suggesting it was accidental rape next.

Trust takes years to build up and can be lost in the blink of an eyelid.

Yes - lads, lads. Come on. Check the raping your colleagues are doing. You don't want rapist overkill in one unit. Save your rapes for later. Use the buddy system.

Ah, so she was asking for it. You really are a f*(ked up, twisted, reprehensible turd of a human being, aren't you?
There could be a hundred reasons she went back to the hotel. She might have wanted to continue talking. She might have had another drink. She might have intended to have sex with him, then changed her mind. Do you know what she didn't go there for? To get raped.
The rapists aren't the only problem here. It's people (and I use the word loosely) like you.

Of course it was, if they were playing naked leap frog it would be quite easy to slip on final approach.

You are right, the Met do have a number of really dense officers, a large number are out of control, they think they are above the law and untouchable, it is a culture.
You are missing something very obvious, common sense, logic and empathy.
The girl would probably have not had any control if widely available 'date rape' drugs had been slipped into her drink, she would have little or no memory. On NW Tonight last evening there was an article about the gay rapist in Manchester who had raped hundreds, there was a police office who narrated the story that she had to go round to unwitting victims to TELL them that THEY had been raped, there was also an interview with one of them who said he had no idea or recollection of the incident only waking up fully clothed in a strange flat.

Yes you are missing something, it doesn’t matter (male or female) how they are dressed, where they go or who they talk to, non consensual sex is rape end of.

Well - if y'all are so incensed about it - why did you not comment on it long ago?
If both parties are so drunk - how does anyone know if it was consensual or not? Easy to say after the facts.
"“The Crown Prosecution Service reminds all concerned that criminal proceedings against the defendant are active and that he has a right to a fair trial."

Currently none of us know what transpired, but your line is very much victim blaming, think you may just find that is what as put people’s back up, let’s see what crime or not has been committed, your attitude of “what did she expect” is very much part of the problem.
